I have keen interest in studying the evolution of landforms, the processes that shape it and how these processes change in space and time. Specifically focusing on the interplay of climate, tectonics and Earth surface processes and assessing the geomorphic impacts of climate change. Furthermore, I am interested in how the mountainous landforms have responded to the Quaternary like climatic oscillations and how we can use the sediment archives to obtain an accurate chronology for commenting on both depositional age and erosion rates during this climate change.

In my research, I combine fieldwork, laboratory analysis and topographic analysis using digital elevation models. Cosmogenic nuclides are my preferred tools for quantifying rates and dates of surface processes. Along with this I also use luminescence dating to propose a chronological model of the aggradation period combined with the denudation history and provenance analysis of the sediments using Sr-Nd isotope geochemistry.
